Frequently Asked Questions How To Enroll In A Course: 1. Once you have logged in, go to the homepage of the LCMS. 2. Select “Course Catalog” tab. 3. Select the prefix drop down and select the course prefix to the course you are looking for. 4. Select Apply Filter. 5. Select “Enroll” next to the course you wish to enroll in. 6. You will get a confirmation asking you if you want to enroll. Select “Continue.” 7. You should receive a confirmation that you are enrolled via email and at the top of the screen. 8. The course should then be able to be launched from your “My Training” box located in under the “My Atlas” tab. How To Enroll In A Curriculum: 1. Select the “Course Catalog” tab. 2. Select “Curricula.” 3. The page will default to show 10 Curricula at a time. You can either increase the results per page or use the arrows at the bottom of the page to scroll through the curricula offered. Once you locate the curriculum that you wish to enroll in, select “Enroll.” 4. You will be asked to confirm your enrollment selection. Select “Continue.” 5. You will then receive confirmation via email of your enrollment and an enrollment confirmation on your computer screen. 10 6. You should then be able to begin the courses in the curriculum under your “My Training” box under the “My Atlas” tab. How To Cancel Enrollment: 1. Log on and go to the homepage of the LCMS. 2. Maximize the “My Training” box. 3. Select “Withdraw” from the course you wish to cancel. NOTE: To cancel a curriculum select “Show Curricula” then “Withdraw.” 4. To get back to the LCMS main page, you will need to minimize the “My Training” box. How To Access Your Certificate: 1. Log on and go to the homepage of the LCMS. 2. Select the “Open My Training History” link in the “My Training” box. 3. Select the certificate icon next to the certificate you are looking to access. NOTE: The system will default to “Show Individual Courses.” To see Curriculum completion certificates select “Show Curricula.” Training Instructors: When writing / providing instructions for registering with JKO, please s e n d t h e m t o jkohelpdesk@jten.mil for review to ensure correct procedures. Trainees: Ensure you launch your courses from the "My Training" section of the LCMS main page in order to receive credit. You will NOT RECEIVE CREDIT if you complete the course using the "Preview" icon. To return to your homepage click the "My Atlas" tab. Trainees: Upon completion of the final lesson of a course, be sure you select the “Next or Next Lesson” button to successfully complete the course. Trainees: Individual course completion certificates are not available until a curriculum is fully completed. Your transcript w i l l s h o w i n d i v i d u a l completions. Trainees: When enrolled in a curriculum, access to the associated courses is found by selecting “Show Curricula” in the “My Training” box.
Introduction to JKO Courses All three JKO portals provide access to the tailored Learning Content Management System (LCMS) for managing delivery of self-paced, Webbased training, including the tracking, documenting, and reporting of student progress. Course status and completions are recorded in the LCMS so students can track their training progress. The LCMS integrates with the Army Training Requirements and Resources System (ATRRS) for DOD-wide joint training recording and reporting. Each instantiation of the LCMS is customized to the particular network. The LCMS on NIPRNet (JKO-NIPR) provides access to all JKO courses with the exception of classified material. The LCMS on SIPRNet (JKO-SIPR) provides all courses found on JKO-NIPR plus classified courses and material. The Internet Public LCMS (JKO-IP) provides access to unclassified, releasable courses. The purpose of the courseware catalog is to provide our user community with a reference guide to the over 700 joint and multinational courses, supplementary presentations, and instructional resource links available on the JKO portal. To enroll in the course, select the “Enroll” button for that course. The system will reconfirm the request by asking if you want to enroll in the course. Select “Continue” to enroll in the course. Select the blue “Refresh” icon and the screen will refresh with a display indicating you are now “Enrolled” in the course. To launch the course, select the “My Atlas” tab at the top of the page. In the “My Training” box, select the “Launch” button to access the course. Upon completing the course, the course entry will move from the “My Training” box to the “Open My Training History” section. Access your training history by selecting the “Open My Training History” link.
