The purpose of this module is to educate DoD and Intelligence Community personnel who will deploy to Afghanistan or who are<br />
working on issues related to Afghanistan-Pakistan. The student will become familiar with the Afghanistan government rebuilding<br />
process including its achievements and challenges, the structure of the Afghanistan central government, Afghanistan foreign<br />
politics, and the U.S. and international community commitment to help Afghanistan rebuild itself. Beginning fall 2010,<br />
this module will be a prerequisite for the Afghanistan-Pakistan Regional Expertise Training Program (AFPAK) instructor-led<br />

AFPAK - Economy of Afghanistan Module J3OP-US774 N<br />
The purpose of this module is to educate DoD and Intelligence Community personnel who will deploy to Afghanistan or who are<br />
working on issues related to Afghanistan-Pakistan. The student will become familiar with the economic challenges facing Afghanistan<br />
after three decades of war. It includes the government's role in the economy and discusses the effect of the illicit<br />
economy. Beginning fall 2010, this module will be a prerequisite for the Afghanistan-Pakistan Regional Expertise Training Program<br />

The purpose of this module is to educate DoD and Intelligence Community personnel who will deploy to Afghanistan or who are<br />
working on issues related to Afghanistan-Pakistan. The student will become familiar with the basics of Pakistan's economy,<br />
the challenges and negative factors facing Pakistan in the local and global economy, and Pakistan's economic future. Beginning<br />
fall 2010, this module will be a prerequisite for the Afghanistan-Pakistan Regional Expertise Training Program (AFPAK)<br />

The purpose of this module is to educate DoD and Intelligence Community personnel who will deploy to Afghanistan or who are<br />
working on issues related to Afghanistan-Pakistan. The student will become familiar with the physical and cultural geography<br />
of Afghanistan including terrain, climate, language and ethnic composition of both urban and rural areas. Beginning fall 2010,<br />
this module will be a prerequisite for the Afghanistan-Pakistan Regional Expertise Training Program (AFPAK) instructor-led<br />
