During the visits I provided adult supervision and translated thecollected data. I uploaded to the blog of the <strong>esfalp</strong>. If the coach of the group had troubleto keep the deadlines then I Intervened and asked the pupils to finish the tasks in time.During the chemical experiments I and my colleague handled the toxic materials andI checked the keep of accident prevention rules. To the use of the 230 Euros I helpedto choose the prizes and the duplication of the pool I helped with my colleagues in thecomposition and execution of the competition’s tasks and the assignment of the prizesto the closing ceremony of the project.PROJECT DESCRIPTIONTOPICKállósemjén has an endangered water base, 4 kind of toxic material can be found in thedrinking water. With my pupils, we researched what we can do <strong>for</strong> the protection of thedrinking water in our village. We tried to raise the awareness of the children and adultsto that every contaminating material we use and we let it into the environment gets backinto our drinking water and it endangers our own and our children’s health.MAIN ACTIVITIESNovember: brainstorming, actual environmental problems in our village and county(collecting in<strong>for</strong>mation - choosing topic)December: measuring the condition of the drinking water in our village, collecting data,systematisation, visiting at the waterworks, having contact, laboratory examinations:Visited the local waterworks companyJanuary: speech of the requested expert (past-present-future): Making a presentationabout the past, present and future.HUFebruary: Experiments <strong>for</strong> the examination of the water. We would li8ke to examine howwill the different pollutants (H2SO4, motor oil, petrol, detergent, NaOH, etc.) influence thegermination of the seeds.March: Visit at the sewage plant. We organized a poster making contest to the occasion of30 Schools Taking Action For Europe’s Environment
