It`s a very popular topic nowadays.Our main goal was to in<strong>for</strong>m students at our school and other people about the importanceof waste separation and its re-use.MAIN ACTIVITIES▪ ▪made a PowerPoint presentation on waste separation and showed it to other students,▪ ▪practical presentations about waste separation at our school,▪▪waste separation in classrooms,▪ ▪in order to make waste separation <strong>for</strong> our students and teachers easier, we put picturesthat represent different kinds of waste on waste bins,▪ ▪collecting waste that could be used <strong>for</strong> making new things,▪▪making useful things from waste,▪▪the students and teachers have cleaned Mariborski otok (a <strong>small</strong> island that wasflooded a few months ago),SLO▪ ▪presentation of the whole process of the collection and management of waste electronicequipment and devices and consequently collecting waste electrical and electronicequipment at school,▪ ▪collecting plastic bottle caps <strong>for</strong> a 3-year old boy who is seriously ill in Maribor andits surrounding area (the caps were sold to the company that recycles them),58 Schools Taking Action For Europe’s Environment
