ArcelorMittal Orbit is named after the companyof the sole sponsor, Lakshmi Mittal; while Orbit has been theoriginal working title of the project. The designers, Anish Kapoorand Cecil Balmond, explain that Orbit represents a new way ofthinking that combines both stability and instability.As the tallest sculpture in Britain, ArcelorMittal Orbit has twoindoor viewing platforms that can each hold 150 people at a time.The spectacular design and the red steel will definitely become anew landmark in London.103
