開 業 不 到 半 年 ,General Store 已 成 為 室 內 設 計 師 朝 聖 的 地 方 之 一 。 店面 雖 小 , 店 內 的 古 董 與 裝 飾 品 卻 不 斷 更 新 。General Store 內 收 藏 了 手 工 精 美 的 vintage 小 物 與 傢 俱 , 據 說 是 要向 中 世 紀 的 美 國 與 歐 洲 致 敬 。 其 中 一 張 1900 年 代 的 木 製 嬰 兒 高 腳 椅 , 對Hayashi 來 說 更 是 意 義 深 厚 。 因 為 當 她 一 家 在 倫 敦 生 活 期 間 , 她 的 小 孩 就是 在 這 張 椅 上 長 大 的 。 雖 然 經 歷 時 間 洗 禮 , 這 張 高 腳 椅 卻 依 然 光 滑 結 實 。抬 頭 一 看 , 小 店 的 天 花 掛 著 各 式 各 樣 、 形 狀 大 小 不 一 的 燈 飾 。 最 引 人 注 意是 一 盞 可 調 校 長 度 的 圓 錐 形 工 業 吊 燈 , 前 身 屬 於 意 大 利 一 間 工 廠 的 照 明 系統 , 隨 著 長 度 改 變 , 室 內 的 氛 圍 亦 相 對 有 異 。店 內 另 一 件 精 品 —— 多 用 途 製 圖 桌 , 亦 是 每 一 位 藝 術 家 或 狂 熱 傢 俱 收 藏 家的 寶 物 。 這 張 擁 有 百 年 歷 史 的 桌 , 上 面 是 打 磨 得 光 滑 的 木 塊 , 下 面 則 是 工業 味 濃 厚 的 金 屬 底 座 , 完 全 是 優 雅 與 粗 曠 的 結 合 。 桌 面 更 能 隨 意 調 校 , 隨你 喜 好 化 身 成 工 作 枱 或 餐 桌 。Opened merely less than half a year, the General Store hasquickly gained its place as a shop not to be missed forinterior designers. Part of Hayashi’spriced possession includes the wooden baby high chairfrom 1900s. The chair has been a big part of Hayashi’s lifeas it was where her children grew up sitting on during theirinfancy while they were living in London.
