Distribution<strong>DB</strong> SCHENKERsystem <strong>and</strong> -parcelDistribution is to the consignee’s delivery addressaccording to the timetable.<strong>DB</strong> SCHENKERparcelDomestic: For HomeDelivery all consignments arenotified by means <strong>of</strong> a text message or telephone call <strong>and</strong>consequently the consignee’s mobile number <strong>and</strong> l<strong>and</strong>linenumber must always be stated.Deliveries are made to private individuals between 17.00<strong>and</strong> 22.00. For certain postcodes, deliveries are madeduring the day, see Home Delivery timetable.Carrying in to the customer is performed by one (1) man<strong>and</strong> with the capacity <strong>of</strong> one man. Carrying in to thecustomer is made inside an outer door or similar unlessagreed otherwise.International: HomeDelivery is not available as an option.<strong>DB</strong> SCHENKERdirect, -coldsped <strong>and</strong> -hangartnerDistribution is to the consignee’s delivery address as agreed.Documents in conjunction with transport to athird country (international)<strong>DB</strong> SCHENKERsystem, -direct, -coldsped <strong>and</strong> -parcelIn the case <strong>of</strong> transport to a third country as well asÅl<strong>and</strong> a commercial invoice is issued in accordance withthe respective country’s regulations. If the value <strong>of</strong> theconsignment is less than EUR 6,000 the export declarationcan usually be made in the commercial invoice. In the case<strong>of</strong> a higher consignment value, an EUR1 certificate is used.<strong>DB</strong> <strong>Schenker</strong> carries out customs clearance services inconnection with import <strong>and</strong> export when it has receivedthe appropriate authorisation.Information about documentation <strong>and</strong> its completion isavailable on our website under l<strong>and</strong> transport/transportdocuments.<strong>DB</strong> SCHENKERparcelFor consignments to Ål<strong>and</strong> a commercial invoice is notrequired. However, the purchaser’s/consignee’s tax number(VAT registration number) must be included on the freightdocument/address label.Invoicing<strong>DB</strong> SCHENKERSdirect, -coldsped <strong>and</strong> -hangartnerInvoicing takes place four (4) times a month.An invoicing charge is payable.<strong>DB</strong> SCHENKERparcelThe minimum amount debited per monthlyinvoice is SEK 300.International: Invoicing is per consignment.Freight payment<strong>DB</strong> SCHENKERsystem, -direct, -coldsped <strong>and</strong> -parcelDomestic: Consignor freight, consignee freight or anotherpaying party can be stated. Regardless <strong>of</strong> the paymentalternative, the principal client’s customer number <strong>and</strong> thepayer‘s customer number are always required. <strong>DB</strong> <strong>Schenker</strong>reserves the right to debit the principal client if the payer’scustomer number is missing.Home Delivery can only be issued with consignor freight.International: Freight costs, charges, etc. are divided betweenthe seller <strong>and</strong> the purchaser based on the <strong>Terms</strong> <strong>and</strong><strong>Conditions</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Transport</strong> <strong>and</strong> delivery according to‘Combiterms 2011 - L<strong>and</strong> transport’. The principal clientmust always state the applicable Combiterms (see 3.2<strong>Terms</strong> <strong>of</strong> payment) for the consignment.Collection<strong>DB</strong> SCHENKERsystem, -direct <strong>and</strong> -coldspedCollection takes place at the consignor as agreed.Agreements relating to fixed collection can be signed,which simplifies the booking procedures (not applicable to<strong>DB</strong> SCHENKERdirect).<strong>DB</strong> SCHENKERparcel. Collection takes place at theconsignor as agreed. A collection charge is added if thenumber <strong>of</strong> consignments when collected is less than five(5) on any one occasion. No collection charge is made forpackages collected at the same time as goods from <strong>DB</strong>SCHENKERsystem.Loading/unloading<strong>DB</strong> SCHENKERsystem, -direct <strong>and</strong> -coldsped (as well asconsignments with an actual weight over 650 kg)Loading <strong>and</strong> unloading are performed by the vehicle crew(one person). The consignor or the consignee shall provideany necessary assistance. If the consignor or consigneecannot provide the assistance that the basic undertakingpresupposes <strong>and</strong> as a result there<strong>of</strong> extra personnel <strong>and</strong>/or equipment are required, a surcharge is made. For detailsregarding securing <strong>of</strong> loads, see information 1.2.3.<strong>DB</strong> SCHENKERparcelDelivery <strong>of</strong> a parcel is to the delivery address stated, insidethe company’s door or gate or to a stated floor, receptionarea or functioning incoming goods reception point.International consignments are an exception to this ruleThe consignor/consignee is obliged to deal with the loading<strong>and</strong> unloading <strong>of</strong> the vehicle according to the driver’sinstructions <strong>and</strong> the driver shall provide the necessaryassistance. In conventional road transport, the driver shallprovide assistance to ensure that loading <strong>and</strong> unloading cantake place from the side <strong>of</strong> the vehicle from/to a loading bayor the ground at a location sheltered from the weather <strong>and</strong>external influences.Securing goods<strong>DB</strong> SCHENKERsystem <strong>and</strong> -directThe consignor is obliged, when the consignor h<strong>and</strong>lesthe loading, to secure the goods.
