Heated transport refers to transport<strong>of</strong> goods frost-free. The transport instructions <strong>and</strong> allparcels included the consignment must be marked with aseparate label. When printing out transport instructionsfrom an EDI file, text is on a par with a label. In the case<strong>of</strong> heated transport, a reservation is made for times in thetimetable.A 25% surcharge per consignment is added to the normalprice list.International: Heated transport can be undertaken tocertain countries following separate agreement. Contactyour nearest <strong>DB</strong> <strong>Schenker</strong> <strong>of</strong>fice for further information.The waybill <strong>and</strong> all parcels included in the consignmentmust be marked with a separate label.Goods insurance<strong>DB</strong> SCHENKERsystem, -direct, -coldsped, -parcel <strong>and</strong>-hangartnerGoods insurance that <strong>of</strong>fers the best compensation inthe event <strong>of</strong> damage is recommended, particularly forinternational transport. Goods insurance can be taken outthrough <strong>DB</strong> <strong>Schenker</strong> either by the seller <strong>of</strong> the goods orthe purchaser depending on the delivery clause agreedbetween them. Goods insurance is a relatively cheap way<strong>of</strong> safeguarding the value <strong>of</strong> your goods during transport<strong>and</strong> storage.For transport booked via EDI a special field is completedwhen goods insurance is required. For international transportthe insurable value must also be stated as the value <strong>of</strong>the goods plus the estimated freight cost plus 10%. For otherbookings, separate instructions are given to <strong>DB</strong> <strong>Schenker</strong>’spersonnel stating that goods insurance is required.For transport in Sweden the premium is SEK 290 (2010)for goods up to a maximum value <strong>of</strong> SEK 400,000 withthe exception <strong>of</strong> the following goods categories for whichinsurance must be ordered separately as other terms<strong>and</strong> conditions apply: Unwrapped goods, gold, silver <strong>and</strong>precious stones, tobacco, wines <strong>and</strong> spirits, works <strong>of</strong> art<strong>and</strong> antiques, weapons, ammunition, pre-owned property<strong>and</strong> removal goods, mobile telephones <strong>and</strong> accessories formobile telephones.For international road transport the premium for 2010is normally 0.19% <strong>of</strong> the insurable value but for breakable/theft-pronegoods the premium is 0.25%, minimumSEK 200/consignment. The higher premium applies tophotographic parcels, <strong>of</strong>fice machinery, laboratory equipment,optical parcels, radio <strong>and</strong> TV equipment, woodwork,clocks, more exclusive <strong>and</strong> more expensive parcels <strong>of</strong>clothing, models, musical instruments, furniture (not dismantled),weapons, ammunition, bicycles, machine goodscontaining sensitive parts, such as electronics.Insurance for the following goods categories must beordered separately as other terms <strong>and</strong> conditions apply:Unwrapped goods, gold, silver <strong>and</strong> precious stones,tobacco, wines <strong>and</strong> spirits, works <strong>of</strong> art <strong>and</strong> antiques, preownedproperty <strong>and</strong> removal goods, mobile telephones <strong>and</strong>accessories for mobile telephones, cars, boats, glassware,porcelain, enamelware, ceramics, tiles, marble, sanitaryware, cooling <strong>and</strong> heating goods, live animals, plants, freshproduce, metal cupboards, white goods, returned goods<strong>and</strong> computer equipment.22

For<strong>DB</strong> SCHENKERhangartner the currency <strong>and</strong> price situationon June 30, 2010 shall apply. Adjustments are subsequentlyare made on a monthly basis <strong>and</strong> vary from country tocountry.
