Following fire drill procedure <strong>and</strong> evacuation plan as posted throughout the building.<strong>Security</strong> <strong>and</strong> AccessAccesses to all <strong>Argosy</strong> <strong>University</strong>, Nashville campus facilities, located on the 2nd floor, are limited toauthorized personnel, students, <strong>and</strong> invited visitors. The campus does not have campus residences or studenthousing. Visitors are, at all times, subject to <strong>University</strong> policies <strong>and</strong> conduct codes. Students <strong>and</strong> employees areresponsible for the lawful <strong>and</strong> appropriate behavior of their guests at all times.A security guard desk is located at the main entrance of the building on the first floor. Students, staff, <strong>and</strong>faculty must swipe their valid identification card upon entrance <strong>and</strong> departure from the building. All personsmust sign in at the security guard desk to obtain a visitor badge <strong>and</strong> must check out upon leaving.From time to time, children accompany parents to our campus. If you are conducting a short visit when you arenot attending class, you may bring your children as long as you are supervising them at all times. Please bemindful, however, that children are not permitted in the <strong>Argosy</strong> <strong>University</strong>, Nashville classrooms <strong>and</strong> are notpermitted to use the library or computer resources.The campus does not have campus residences<strong>Campus</strong> Law EnforcementThe building that the <strong>Argosy</strong> <strong>University</strong> <strong>Campus</strong> is located in provides 24 hour a day security guards. Whilebuilding security does not have the power to arrest, there is a liaison between the building security <strong>and</strong> the localpolice. <strong>Argosy</strong> <strong>University</strong> does not have a written memor<strong>and</strong>um of underst<strong>and</strong>ing or agreement with state <strong>and</strong>local police for the investigation of alleged crimes.Students <strong>and</strong> employees are strongly urged to report promptly <strong>and</strong> accurately crimes to the Director of StudentServices <strong>and</strong> the local police department. The local police department will be informed of criminal actions thatare reported to the Director of Student Services. In accordance with the Clery <strong>Act</strong> regulations, <strong>Campus</strong> “PastoralCounselors” <strong>and</strong> <strong>Campus</strong> “Professional Counselors”, when acting as such, are not considered to be a campussecurity authority <strong>and</strong> are not required to report crimes for inclusion into the annual disclosure of crime statistics.The Institution contracts with Talk One-2-One, a free service, which provides confidential professional counselingvia the telephone 24 hours per day, 7 days a week. Students may contact Talk One-2-One counselor at 1-888-617-3362. The Talk One-2-One counselor may refer a student for limited visits with an area network mental healthprovider or assist the student with locating resources within the community. As a matter of policy, the counselorsare encouraged; if <strong>and</strong> when they deem it appropriate, to inform persons being counseled of the procedures to reportcrimes on a voluntary, confidential basis for inclusion into the annual crime statistics. Victims or witnesses tocrimes may file a report on a voluntary, confidential basis through the Director of Student Services.The Director of Student Services will be responsible for contacting either the local police department <strong>and</strong>/or theTennessee Department of Public Safety to determine if any criminal offenses have occurred on campus without
