<strong>The</strong> 2008 BCI Rules 32particular, that all University Departmental Centres, Faculty, Constituentand affiliated Centres <strong>of</strong> Legal Education proposing to <strong>of</strong>fer law coursesunder either or both the streams, possess:i. Required infrastructural facilities outlined under the BCIRules;ii.Required number <strong>of</strong> teaching faculties as prescribed by BCIand UGC;iii.Facilities for imparting practical legal education specified inthe curriculum under the Rules and Legal Aid Clinic, CourtTraining and Moot Court exercises;iv.Adequate library, computer and technical facilities includingon-line library facility, andv. In case <strong>of</strong> a Centre <strong>of</strong> Legal Education sponsored by privateinitiative <strong>of</strong> a person there is a Capital Fund as required inthe Schedule III by BCI from time to time, deposited in theBank Account in the name <strong>of</strong> the Centre <strong>of</strong> Legal Educationconcerned.<strong>The</strong> types <strong>of</strong> inspection contemplated under the 2008 Rules are providedfor under Rule 19, and read as follows:“(i) Initial inspection: Initial inspection shall meaninspection <strong>of</strong> the University and inspection <strong>of</strong> the <strong>Bar</strong><strong>Council</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>India</strong> for permitting a new Centre <strong>of</strong> LegalEducation;REPORT OF 3-MEMBER COMMITTEE ON REFORM OF LEGAL EDUCATION
