<strong>HMIS</strong> <strong>Project</strong> <strong>Management</strong> <strong>Topics</strong> <strong>and</strong> <strong>Tools</strong>- Establishing Continuum-level mechanisms for monitoring <strong>and</strong>/or enforcing compliancewith the approved SOPs; <strong>and</strong>- Compiling <strong>and</strong> analyzing <strong>HMIS</strong> data with other provider <strong>and</strong> community data sources.To the extent that an SOP is identified which conflicts with applicable state or federal laws, thenthe Governing Board will work with the City to amend the policy <strong>and</strong>/or software design toresolve the conflict. The Governing Board may also identify procedures that need to be amendedbased on the initial implementation <strong>and</strong>/or ongoing operation of the system. If the GoverningBoard or its designee identifies procedures that need to be amended, the process will include:- Any individual, organization or Continuum committee/workgroup can raise concerns orrecommendations for revisions to a specific SOP.- The Governing Board shall designate a specific committee or workgroup to explore theconcern <strong>and</strong> to develop a recommendation for full Governing Board consideration.While a single committee may be identified as the primary entity generally responsiblefor overseeing the SOPs, another committee may be designated as the lead to explore aspecific concern/recommendation.- Proposed revisions must be presented <strong>and</strong> approved by the full Governing Board.- After approval, a list of all revisions, the date revised, <strong>and</strong> a brief description of thechange should be incorporated as part of the Table of Contents in the SOPdocumentation. Most current revision dates should also be noted at the top of eachindividual policy.<strong>HMIS</strong> Governing Committee M<strong>and</strong>ate (a) 105
