Customer satisfaction is the extent to which customers are happy with the products and
services provided by a business. Gaining high level of customer satisfaction is very important to
a business because satisfied customers are most likely to the loyal and to make repeat orders and
to use a wide range of services offered by a business. Customers are most likely to appreciate
the goods and services and that they are made to feel special.
The present study deals with borrower’s satisfaction with respect to the rate of interest,
loan processing, sanctioning, and disbursement and also satisfaction towards non-banking
services.
OBJECTIVES OF THE STUDY
� To assess the borrower’s satisfaction about the rural credit processing and functioning of
primary co-operative bank.
� To offer suggestion for improving services of primary co-operative banks with reference
to rural credit.
RESEARCH DESIGN AND METHODOLOGY
In view of considerable data from survey as well as secondary data collected and
presented in this research report descriptive research is considered the most appropriate for the
present study. Hence the study has been descriptive and analytical.
COLLECTION OF DATA
The study uses both primary and secondary data relating to the subject under study. The
study is an empirical one based on survey method. The secondary data was further collected
from annual report and records of the primary co-operative bank.
