The crew of the Full Means 2 was Chinese. Theship was operated by FCF Fishery Co., which is based in Taiwan and owned by the captain's father. Thevessel is registered in the Republic of the Seychelles. The ship was intercepted by the Coast Guard about 60miles south of Hawaii after crew members regained control of the vessel from Shi and set sail for Hawaii.The ship was escorted to Honolulu Harbor on March 20. The 30 other crewmen are being held as materialwitnesses. The ship remains in Honolulu Harbor under a restraining order obtained by its crew members,who are demanding back pay of about $300,000.k.
