76. . . . .CHAPTER 3: CFA & ACH MODULESCFA ModuleTo Void or Stop a payment1 Click Modules - Check Fraud Avoidance and click Void/Stop Paymentor click from the Check Fraud Avoidance toolbar.2 On the Void/Stop Payment dialog box, in the Transaction Type section,select the type of transaction to be performed. Only one type of transactionmay be performed at a time.3 In the Bank Criteria section, select a Bank Name and select an accountnumber in the Account Number field box that the void or stop paymentchecks were drawn on.4 If you want to use all accounts for the selected bank, select thecorresponding check box.5 In the Payment Date Range section, type a start and end date.NoteThe Payment Date is the date appearing on the check; this may be differentfrom the Processed Date, which is the date the check was printed.)6 The default setting for both the Start Date and the End Date is the systemdate.7 To further limit the number of payment records to choose from, select aPayment Range. Type a Start Payment Number (i.e. the beginning checknumber) and the End Payment Number (i.e. the ending check number) of thedesired Payment Range.8 Otherwise, leave these input boxes empty, and all records for the chosenBank Name, Account Number(s), and Payment Date Range will beavailable.9 Click Select.
