According to <strong>the</strong> Associati<strong>on</strong> <strong>of</strong> American Publishers, “learning material choices<strong>of</strong>fered for a single course by a single publisher may include, for example, a textbook in 10 ormore formats, each at a different price, 10 or 20 opti<strong>on</strong>al student supplements, and dozens <strong>of</strong>opti<strong>on</strong>al instructi<strong>on</strong>al and management tools for faculty” (Associati<strong>on</strong> <strong>of</strong> American Publishersresp<strong>on</strong>se to <strong>IBHE</strong> letter 2006).-15-
