Triangular areaThe area of a triangle can be calculated by themeasurement of three sides.Press the key two times - the triangle symbolappears in the display.Press the key and measure the first side of thetriangle.Press the key and measure the second side ofthe triangle.Press the key and measure the third side of thetriangle.The result is shown in the summary row.Press and hold the key to display additional informationabout the measurement, such as the angleincluded by the first two measurements and theperimeter of the triangle .Stake out functionTwo different distances (a and b) can be entered intothe instrument and can then be used to mark offdefined measured lengths, e.g. in the construction ofwooden frames.32Entering stake out distances:10.625 m 0.625 m 0.625 m0.625 m 0.625 m 1.025 mPress this button three times and the stake outafunction symbol appears in the display b.The value (a) and the corresponding intermediate lineflash.By using and , you can adjust the values(first a and then b) to suit the desired stake outdistances.
