Particularlyafter the instrument has been subject to abnormaluse, and before, during and after important measurements.Make sure the Leica DISTO optics is kept clean andthat there is no mechanical damage to the bumpers. CAUTION:In using the instrument for distance measurementsor for positioning moving objects (e.g. cranes,building equipment, platforms, etc.) unforeseenevents may cause erroneous measurements.Precautions:Only use this product as a measuring sensor, not asa control device. Your system must be configured andoperated in such a way, that in case of an erroneousmeasurement, malfunction of the device or powerfailure due to installed safety measures (e.g. safetylimit switch), it is assured that no damage will occur. WARNING:Flat batteries must not be disposed of withhousehold waste.
