The staff report shall be made available to <strong>the</strong> applicant and o<strong>the</strong>r interestedparties at least 15 days before <strong>the</strong> date <strong>of</strong> any public hearing for <strong>the</strong> respective petition.6. The Board shall render its decision within 30 days <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> close <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> hearing.7. The Board may meet monthly, or at such times as it deems necessary for <strong>the</strong> transaction <strong>of</strong>business, including <strong>the</strong> hearing <strong>of</strong> appeals and variances petitions.B. An opportunity for property owners and residents within a minimum distance <strong>of</strong> 300 feet <strong>of</strong><strong>the</strong> boundaries <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> property violation shall be provided in order to allow an opportunity tomake comments on <strong>the</strong> appeal or variance request petitions, and2. The Chief Engineer may refer appeal or variance requests <strong>of</strong> a technical nature to <strong>the</strong>Technical Review Committee. The Technical Review Committee shall hold a hearing to makefindings and recommendations to <strong>the</strong> Board within 30 days <strong>of</strong> receipt <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> petition from <strong>the</strong>Chief Engineer.3. Review by <strong>the</strong> Chief Engineer and <strong>the</strong> Technical Review Committee <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> appeal by <strong>the</strong>appellant, <strong>the</strong> <strong>final</strong> staff report, and <strong>the</strong> circumstances and testimony presented at <strong>the</strong> hearing by<strong>the</strong> Chief Engineer and Technical Review Committee, when such hearings are held.3. Section 26-321, <strong>the</strong> land upon which <strong>the</strong>structure is located is ineligible for acquisition under <strong>the</strong> <strong>County</strong> Floodprone Land AcquisitionProgram, and notice that <strong>the</strong> structure increase risks to life and property and will result inincreased flood insurance premium rates A copy <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> notice shall be recorded by <strong>the</strong> Board in<strong>the</strong> <strong>of</strong>fice <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> <strong>County</strong> Recorder and shall be recorded in a manner so that it appears in <strong>the</strong>chain <strong>of</strong> title <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> affected parcel <strong>of</strong> land. Section 48-3610, whenever a variance to federal and/or statefloodplain requirements contained in this title and is within 1 mile <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> boundary between <strong>the</strong>District's area <strong>of</strong> jurisdiction and <strong>the</strong> jurisdiction <strong>of</strong> a city or town, <strong>the</strong>n <strong>the</strong> District shall advise,in writing, <strong>the</strong> city or town and provide a copy <strong>of</strong> any development plan or any application thathas been filed with <strong>the</strong> District for a floodplain use permit or variance.
