PROXIMITY OF WELDSAdjacent circumferential welds in pipelines shall be separated by a minimum of 2 times the outsidediameter or 500mm whichever is greater.The distance can be reduced to 500mm in the above ground pipe at valve stations and pipe on theplant side of anchor blocks or expansion loops at end stations.Branches, fittings and attachments shall be separated away from other welds on the pipeline.
