fatwâs were not sahîh and were based on absolute falsehoods.Therefore, the two Sultans were the mashrû’ Khalîfas till theypassed away. And because of this turpitude, the Ottomans lostthe wars of “93” (with Russia in 1877-1878) and “Balkan” andthe First World War; for, these three wars were started anddirected not by Muslim governments but by secret revolutionistswho had no connection with Islam.56 - Sayyid Qutb, disguised in a hero of liberty, wrote in hisbook Islamic Studies,“Those who do not stand and shout against the face ofdictators and miscreants either commit a grave sin or behave inthis manner because they are hypocritical in belief. Or they areutterly ignorant people who do not know real Islam.” (Page32) [1]With statements of this sort he incited fitna among Muslims.As a matter of fact, a hadîth states, “Fitna is asleep. MayAllâhu ta’âlâ damn him who wakes fitna!” and “When youcannot correct something wrong, be patient! Allâhu ta’âlâwill correct it.” Hadrat al-Imâm ar-Rabbânî said that al-amru bi’l-ma’rûf should be performed mildly. It was stated in a hadîth,“He who cannot change the oppression of the cruel shouldmigrate from there.”“Islam is a struggle, an endless war. It is not Islamic tomurmur prayers, to jingle the beads of rosary, to trust in thewords, ‘O my Allah, You protect us,’ and to believe in thatbenevolence will rain from the sky.” (Page 33)The forty-seventh letter of the third volume of Maktûbât [1] byHadrat al-Imâm ar-Rabbânî is a perfect answer to these writingsof Sayyid Qutb and helps one understand immediately whatkind of path Sayyid Qutb followed. Allâhu ta’âlâ commands topray and to trust in Him, and He says He likes those who prayand trust in Him, but Sayyid Qutb made fun of those whoprayed to and trusted in Allâhu ta’âlâ. The Qur’ân and theHadîth command to tell beads. They praise those who tell theirbeads, but he denied this.
