make a special Christmas card to take<br />

home. Elf costumes are provided for<br />

Fairyland<br />

It’s a magical life in Fairyland and<br />

participants will help to create an<br />

original story for our script-free<br />

mini play. Be a fairy king or queen, a<br />

flower or rainbow fairy, or any fairy<br />

you choose. We will play fairy games,<br />

develop characters, a plot, and learn<br />

a song. Imagination, listening skills,<br />

group interaction, and spontaneity<br />

will be encouraged. There will be a<br />

classroom performance on the last<br />

day. Participants will be responsible<br />

for providing their own costume.<br />

The Toy Shop<br />

Join us at the amazing Blue Moon Toy<br />

Shop where all the toys come to life.<br />

You will create your own special toy<br />

character and we will develop a story<br />

all about you in this unique script-free<br />

mini play. Every toy has a story and<br />

yours is waiting to be told. Imagination,<br />

listening skills, group interaction, and<br />

spontaneity will be encouraged as we<br />

play related improv games each week.<br />

Participants will be responsible for<br />

providing their own costume. There will<br />

be a classroom performance on the<br />

last day. The instructor is a published<br />

children’s author and playwright.<br />

Learn the basic elements and principles<br />

Color of His Own by Leo Lionni; and<br />

Where the Wild Things Are by Maurice<br />

Sendak. Our story of the day will serve<br />

as inspiration for our little artists to<br />

create their own creatures! Don’t forget<br />
