Intro to Fitness for Youth<br />

This is a required course for youth, ages 11-13, in order to use fitness<br />

equipment at Ackerman Sports & Fitness Center. This program is one<br />

hour for two days. Dates and times need to be set up with a personal<br />

trainer. Intro to Fitness will cover the following:<br />

• Rules and regulations<br />

• Fill out & keep fitness card on file<br />

• Flexibility & stretching techniques<br />

Fees<br />

1-on-1: $75<br />

Group Rate: $50/child (2-4 children)<br />

• Complete fitness assessment<br />

• Cardio equipment<br />

• Complete pass/fail test<br />

PERSONAL TRAINING<br />

Active Older Adults Fitness NEW<br />

Age: 50 & Up<br />

Stay energized and increase your quality of life! This program is<br />

everything you need to stay healthy and fit: 20 minutes of easy aerobic<br />

dance moves to fun music, followed by 20 minutes of light weight<br />

training, and 20 minutes of balance and stretching. Instructor: Joan<br />

Our certified personal trainers will design a program that<br />

meets your specific fitness needs. They can help you reach<br />

and/or maintain your goal by guiding you through safe,<br />

productive, supervised workouts.<br />

All clients receive a free fitness testing and evaluation during<br />

the first session. The evaluation is an important tool that helps<br />

trainers create the most effective program for you.<br />

The evaluation includes:<br />

• Body fat analysis<br />

• Upper/lower body strength<br />

• Lean body mass<br />

• Abdominal strength<br />

• Cardiovascular endurance test<br />

• Flexibility analysis<br />
