and make a giant bat that you can<br />

to create your own potions, elixirs<br />

and other mixtures. You will start with<br />

simple ones first then move on to<br />

more advanced concoctions as you<br />

progress in knowledge. At the end of<br />

Amusement Park Robotics<br />

What could be more fun than creating<br />

your own Amusement Park? Using<br />

advanced LEGO® Mindstorms systems<br />

build amusement park rides and learn<br />

to program a ghost train, a bumper car,<br />

a merry-go-round, and a tour bus to<br />

move. Students will work in teams of<br />

2, learning and having fun using their<br />

Making Your Own<br />

Spiderman Movie<br />

Age: 7-11<br />

What’s the next adventure for<br />

Spiderman? You decide! You will<br />

create your own movie using special<br />

cameras and software. As directors and<br />

producers you will work in teams to<br />

create your own story and script, build<br />

scenes out of Lego®, use Spiderman<br />

mini figures as characters and film your<br />

own movie. You will use graphic editing<br />

techniques and stop motion animation,<br />

add background noise and music, and<br />

show your movie at a private screening<br />

on the last day of class. Have your<br />

final movie posted on the Computer<br />

Explorers YouTube channel to be<br />

viewed by friends and family near and<br />

the LEGO WeDo Robotics System,<br />

young children can build and program<br />

their own robotic creations. Designed<br />

system teaches children about simple<br />

machines, engineering, programming<br />

and so much more. Young imaginations<br />

soar! Students will work together<br />
