Halloween Potions, Elixirs, &
Other Magical Mixtures!

In this fun, interactive class, you as a
student of “wizardry” and “witchery”
will learn about basic principles of
chemistry as you follow ancient recipes
and use various “magical” ingredients
to create your own potions, elixirs
and other mixtures. You will start with
simple ones first then move on to
more advanced concoctions as you
progress in knowledge. At the end of
the class, you will receive a certificate

Amusement Park Robotics
Age: 8-12
What could be more fun than creating
your own Amusement Park? Using
advanced LEGO® Mindstorms systems
and infrared technology, students will
build amusement park rides and learn
to program a ghost train, a bumper car,
a merry-go-round, and a tour bus to
move. Students will work in teams of
2, learning and having fun using their
imagination and creativity. Instructor:

Making Your Own
Spiderman Movie
Age: 7-11
What’s the next adventure for
Spiderman? You decide! You will
create your own movie using special
cameras and software. As directors and
producers you will work in teams to
create your own story and script, build
scenes out of Lego®, use Spiderman
mini figures as characters and film your
own movie. You will use graphic editing
techniques and stop motion animation,
add background noise and music, and
show your movie at a private screening
on the last day of class. Have your
final movie posted on the Computer
Explorers YouTube channel to be
viewed by friends and family near and
