Adult Fitness Classes at MSRC & SARC<br />

Age: 16 years & up • Min/Max: 6/20 for No/Low Aerobics & Zumba; 6/12 for Yoga & Shape<br />

All Classes are 8 or 9 week sessions.<br />

SESSION I: August 26-October 26 (No class September 2)<br />

*Instructor is American Council on Exercise certified.<br />

Hatha Yoga (Gentle/Restorative)<br />

For those who seek gentle, restorative techniques. This<br />

is good for true neophytes who want easy breathing and<br />

relaxing movements. Instructor: Yoga Teachers Group. [AB]<br />

Body Fit<br />

Looking for a fun and effective workout challenge? We blast<br />

through an hour combining kickboxing, step, slide, BOSU, free<br />

weights, Swiss ball, medicine balls...nothing is off limits. If it<br />

works the body safely and in a challenging way, we do it. No<br />

matter your fitness level, you will see improvement in your<br />

cardio fitness, muscle strength, balance and flexibility. This is<br />

the only workout you need. Come twice a week and save. Still<br />

need convincing? Call and sign up to come in for a free class.<br />

No/Low Aerobics<br />

Stay fit, burn fat and calories, and add muscle tone with “no”<br />

stress to your joints with no to low-impact aerobics plus floor<br />

work for major muscle groups. Bring a friend to guest week!<br />

Zumba<br />

Based on the theory that a workout should be FUN & EASY<br />

TO DO, Zumba uses interval training to combine fast and slow<br />

rhythms for an effective aerobic workout while targeting your<br />

legs, glutes and arms. Zumba’s great for non-dancers because<br />

the workout is basically watch and follow. The moves are<br />

repeated often enough for you to catch on quickly. The<br />

routines are repeated week after week with additions every<br />

now and then to spice things up! You’ve heard of it or you’ve<br />

already done it. Now, come do it with us! Instructor: Kathleen<br />
