Piano for Kids! with B#Sharp Music
for Children
Ages: 5-7 & 6-8
Young children, new to the piano, require engaging, ageappropriate
instruction combined with whole body movement
that inspires a fun and solid understanding of musical
concepts. Join Miss Monica as she continues the journey to
musical literacy and piano proficiency introduced in the Glen
Ellyn Preschool music curriculum. Materials fee due first day of
class: $12. [JR]
Piano I: Note-Able Kids
‘Note-Able Kids’ will experience movement, singing and
rhythmic exercises as they apply what they learn to playing the
piano and other tonal instruments. Note reading is introduced.
Piano II: Keyboard Kids
Keyboard Kids’ integrates multi-sensory learning into
traditional semi-private piano lessons. With a maximum of four
students per class, students benefit from both teacher oneon-one
time and the dynamics of learning and interacting with
peers. Students will spend the majority of the lesson at the
keyboard allowing time for movement and other supportive
musical activities. Piano learning is enriched with rhythm,
theory, history and vocal exercises.
