Should Know<br />
Welcome Sean Nelson and Anne Bennett to the staff of<br />
Glen Ellyn Park District<br />
Sean will be managing Ackerman Sports & Fitness Center and<br />
holds a Bachelor of Arts with a concentration in Marketing<br />
and Public Relations from Louisiana State University. For<br />
the past 14 years, he has worked at YMCAs in DuPage and<br />
McHenry counties, including B.R. Ryall in Glen Ellyn. His most<br />
recent position was with the Sage YMCA in Crystal Lake as<br />
Executive Director, where he managed more than 100 full<br />
and part-time staff while coordinating a $19 million capital<br />
campaign to build a new facility.<br />

Assisting Sean at ASFC, and overseeing Sunset Pool in the<br />
summer, is Anne Bennett as our new Aquatic & Fitness<br />
Facility Supervisor. A lifelong Glen Ellyn resident, Bennett has<br />
a degree in Recreation and Park Administration from Illinois<br />
State University. She has held supervisory positions in aquatics<br />
and facilities at Barlett, Itasca and Roselle park districts.
