Sponsorship Opportunities
Glen Ellyn Park District has a comprehensive sponsorship
program to link corporations and local businesses with the
community.
The support of sponsors makes it possible for Glen Ellyn
Park District to provide top-quality special events and family
activities as well as leisure and recreational opportunities for
families who are unable to afford them.
The park district’s multifaceted program allows sponsors
to match the event to their passion and desired level of
participation. Sponsorship enhances your company’s image
and visibility and sets you apart from the competition. It is
an opportunity to showcase your goods and services and
build value and goodwill among your client base. In addition,
sponsors are named in all promotion and marketing materials
surrounding the event including signs, media coverage, and
park district publications.

Program Financial Assistance/Scholarships
The Park District recognizes that there are people in the
community who are often unable to participate in recreation
programs due to economic hardships.
The District has established a recreation program financial
assistance fund to assist families in the community. Financial
assistance applications are available at the Main Street
Recreation Center and the Spring Avenue Recreation
Center. For further information, contact Kathleen Esposito,
Superintendent of Recreation at 630-942-7261. All requests
will remain confidential.
A referral for additional scholarship assistance is now available
to qualified resident children under the age of 18 through the
Milton Township Youth Committee’s Family Youth Scholarship
Fund. This special needs program can assist in funding a
child’s related goods and services beyond what the Glen Ellyn
Park District already has provided.

Refund Policy - Please Read Carefully!
Service Charge on Refund Requests
Due to the large number of refund requests received
seasonally, the park district assesses a service charge on
ALL REFUNDS issued which are not a result of a park district
cancellation or waiting list placement. The service charge
is $5.00 per program. Refunds for moving, injury/illness, or
schedule changes will be prorated according to the date the
request for a refund is made.
Satisfaction Guarantee Refund Policy
The Glen Ellyn Park District strives to provide participants
with high quality recreation programs, activities and events.
To encourage first time participation as well as repeat
participation, the Park District has a refund policy highlighted
by a satisfaction guarantee. This special refund policy provides
us with timely feedback about dissatisfaction regarding our
services. We can then take prompt action to improve services.
If you are not completely satisfied, tell us and we will either:
1. Invite you to repeat the class at no charge;
2. Allow you a credit that can be applied to another program;
3. Issue you a full refund.
Our guarantee is based on fulfilling our promise to deliver the
published expectations describing the particular service you
have used. A refund will be granted if you were dissatisfied
with the experience due to circumstances under the Park
District’s control. If you are not satisfied, we kindly ask you to
give us your input or suggestions for improvement.
Requests for the above mentioned options must be made
before the midpoint of the program or within two weeks of a
single meeting activity. All refund requests must be submitted
on our form and returned to the Spring Avenue Recreation
Center or the Main Street Recreation Center. Satisfaction
Guarantee does not apply to trips, special events with
prepaid admissions and tickets, and athletic programs where
equipment has already been ordered.
