Sponsorship Opportunities<br />
Glen Ellyn Park District has a comprehensive sponsorship<br />
program to link corporations and local businesses with the<br />
community.<br />
The support of sponsors makes it possible for Glen Ellyn<br />
Park District to provide top-quality special events and family<br />
activities as well as leisure and recreational opportunities for<br />
families who are unable to afford them.<br />
The park district’s multifaceted program allows sponsors<br />
to match the event to their passion and desired level of<br />
participation. Sponsorship enhances your company’s image<br />
and visibility and sets you apart from the competition. It is<br />
an opportunity to showcase your goods and services and<br />
build value and goodwill among your client base. In addition,<br />
sponsors are named in all promotion and marketing materials<br />
surrounding the event including signs, media coverage, and<br />
park district publications.<br />

Program Financial Assistance/Scholarships<br />
The Park District recognizes that there are people in the<br />
community who are often unable to participate in recreation<br />
programs due to economic hardships.<br />
The District has established a recreation program financial<br />
assistance fund to assist families in the community. Financial<br />
assistance applications are available at the Main Street<br />
Recreation Center and the Spring Avenue Recreation<br />
Center. For further information, contact Kathleen Esposito,<br />
Superintendent of Recreation at 630-942-7261. All requests<br />
will remain confidential.<br />
A referral for additional scholarship assistance is now available<br />
to qualified resident children under the age of 18 through the<br />
Milton Township Youth Committee’s Family Youth Scholarship<br />
Fund. This special needs program can assist in funding a<br />
child’s related goods and services beyond what the Glen Ellyn<br />
Park District already has provided.<br />

Refund Policy - Please Read Carefully!<br />
Service Charge on Refund Requests<br />
Due to the large number of refund requests received<br />
seasonally, the park district assesses a service charge on<br />
ALL REFUNDS issued which are not a result of a park district<br />
cancellation or waiting list placement. The service charge<br />
is $5.00 per program. Refunds for moving, injury/illness, or<br />
schedule changes will be prorated according to the date the<br />
request for a refund is made.<br />
Satisfaction Guarantee Refund Policy<br />
The Glen Ellyn Park District strives to provide participants<br />
with high quality recreation programs, activities and events.<br />
To encourage first time participation as well as repeat<br />
participation, the Park District has a refund policy highlighted<br />
by a satisfaction guarantee. This special refund policy provides<br />
us with timely feedback about dissatisfaction regarding our<br />
services. We can then take prompt action to improve services.<br />
If you are not completely satisfied, tell us and we will either:<br />
1. Invite you to repeat the class at no charge;<br />
2. Allow you a credit that can be applied to another program;<br />
3. Issue you a full refund.<br />
Our guarantee is based on fulfilling our promise to deliver the<br />
published expectations describing the particular service you<br />
have used. A refund will be granted if you were dissatisfied<br />
with the experience due to circumstances under the Park<br />
District’s control. If you are not satisfied, we kindly ask you to<br />
give us your input or suggestions for improvement.<br />
Requests for the above mentioned options must be made<br />
before the midpoint of the program or within two weeks of a<br />
single meeting activity. All refund requests must be submitted<br />
on our form and returned to the Spring Avenue Recreation<br />
Center or the Main Street Recreation Center. Satisfaction<br />
Guarantee does not apply to trips, special events with<br />
prepaid admissions and tickets, and athletic programs where<br />
equipment has already been ordered.
