The Conservation Commission held 4 meetings and 1 special on‐site meeting. The<br />

Commission heard the following number <strong>of</strong> applications, either as new or continued<br />

hearings:<br />

Requests for Amendment – 0<br />

Requests for Determination <strong>of</strong> Applicability - 3<br />

Administrative Reviews - 12<br />

The ConsCom issued with approval: 9 Orders <strong>of</strong> Conditions, 0 Amended Orders <strong>of</strong><br />

Conditions, and signed 3 Certificates <strong>of</strong> Compliance. No application was denied.<br />

TOTAL FILING RECEIPTS: $ 2,960.00<br />

Violations – There were 3 violations that the Commission continued to deal with this<br />

month.<br />

Tickets Paid: $300<br />

One ticket was issued in January, totaling $300<br />

Tickets previously issued, totaling $ 8,700 are yet to be paid.<br />

One ticket issued in November has been appealed to Orleans District Court.<br />

A criminal complaint has been filed for the unpaid tickets.<br />

Regulations – A subcommittee <strong>of</strong> the Commission on regulations met once. The first<br />

discussion centered on the Inland bank regulations and Terry Eldredge <strong>of</strong> Eldredge<br />

Surveying & Engineering was a contributor to the discussion. These meetings will<br />

continue most Fridays, as posted, to continue to work on regulation revisions. Staff<br />

continues to research supporting documentation and has compiled regulations from<br />

other towns for review.<br />

Field Work and Administrative Work - Staff made numerous site visits to review<br />

proposed projects; inspected projects for compliance; conducted numerous site visits<br />

prior to work start or to review projects in progress; conducted inspections for<br />

Certificates <strong>of</strong> Compliance; followed up on violation matters; and met with<br />

applicants, contractors and representatives; reviewed all building permits prior to<br />

their issuance; issued comments to the Zoning Board <strong>of</strong> Appeals and to the Planning<br />

Board.<br />

Staff has begun to work with PeopleForms to track & convert various records/data so<br />

that the information can be linked to parcels and be more readily available to others.<br />
