Tramways Company .will be held at the company's
offices, street railway Chambers, 78 Craig
street west, at 12 o'clock noon, on Wednesday,
the 27th day of August, 1919.
The transfer books will be cloMed fromthe
7th day of August to the 26th day of August,
both days inclusive.

des opérations dans la province de Québec.
Les pouvoirs donnés à ladite compagnie par
sa charte seront limités à ceux accordés aux corporations
de même nature, créées en vertu des
lois de la province de Québec, et sujettes aux
formalités prescrites par les lois existantes de
cette province.
La principale place d'affaires, dans la province,
est à Montréal.
Son agent principal, aux fins de recevoir les
assignations en toutes actions et procédures
exercées contre elle, est M. James Stewart
Huyck, de Montréal.

Book Company, Limited" has been authorized
to do business in the Province of Quebec.
The powers conferred to the said company
by its charter shall be limited to those granted
to corporations of a like nature, created in virtue
of the law of the Province of Quebec, and subject
to the formalities prescribed by the law known
in force of the Province.
Its chief place of business, in the Province, is at
Montreal.
Its principal agent, for the purpose of receiving
sendees in any suits and proceedings instituted
against it, is Mr. James Stewart Huyck, of
Montreal.
