The hearts’ desire of these
people is to find God who gives
life and peace. Our unique
Savior identifies with us, died
for us, and was raised from the
dead offering new life to those
who will believe in Him (Hebrews
9:11-28). Buddha cannot do that.
The Hindu gods cannot do that.
Chanting mantras and doing
yoga poses will not do that. Only
Jesus Christ can save us that we
might have eternal life with God.
(Fernando, 2001) Here is how
you can reach out to them:
• Prayerfully consider their heartfelt
needs. They may have a
nagging doubt, personal pain, or
disillusionment with their religion
before they are ready for what
you have to share.
• Know what they believe, then
compare with the Word of God.
All the answers are there.
• Think opportunity instead
of challenge. Rather than get
caught in a tug of war, take the
opportunity to reach them in
their search for truth with compassion.
• Be prepared for resistance. The
god of this age has blinded the
minds and hearts of people. (2
Corinthians 4:4) All of the work in
a person’s heart is by the power
of God. (Romans 1:16)
• Be patient. It may take a while
for them to grasp what you share
with them. It may take several
people God brings into their lives
to help them accept Jesus as
their Savior.
• Set the example for your children.
They will see how you
reach out to others in love and
will want to do the same.
All roads do not lead to God
because they contradict each
other. There is only one way.
You have the Truth, so share it.
Reach out to them with the Life
Saver.
