Truth… it’s amazing how difficult it is to emphasize the importance of truth. I sit here, reading
and studying, seeking and praying, in order to make sure that what I write is truth –
without my bias or misconceptions from things I may have learned in the past. And, it is in
this time of searching that I feel the impact of a lesson that keeps coming back to me through
the years… “The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.” ~Albert Einstein
I’ve been told that teachers, who truly care about what they teach, often feel the pressure that
comes from understanding the great responsibility they have. I have found that statement to
be very true. Those who teach are held to a higher standard; and that should give one pause
when placed in that position. After all, however many people you can help, is the same amount
of people you can hurt.
Not many of you should presume to be teachers, my brothers, because you know that we who
teach will be judged more strictly.~James 3:1
I look around and see a world full of people hungry for truth; aching for something to believe
in – something they can trust. This deep longing, for something real, can be a wonderful path
