we ‘chose’ to upstage Him by
falling into sin?
Has any other ‘god’ done this?
Are you willing to believe that
you just ‘evolved’ from some
ape? Who created the ape? Are
you willing to believe you just
appeared one day due to primemodal
ooze from the sea? Who
created the sea and all the sea
life?
In order for there to be a ‘creation’
there has to be a “Creator.”
However, we are only human.
That being said, we come with
many flaws and doubts. This is
where faith comes in.
The Bible states: “Faith is the
substance of things hoped for;
the evidence of things not seen.”
Hebrews 11:1- KJV
The One True God gives us that
hope which then strengthens our
faith which permits us to have a
unique and very real relationship
with the Lord of Lords.
Allow me to share a gut wrenching
example of God’s intervention:
“I took my two kids to a roller
rink one night back in 1994. My
son was 5, my daughter was 10.
Upon exiting the car, my 5 year
old son decided to run across
the street to the other side and
surprise me. He was so proud to
have made it over there all on his
own he was waving to me with
great glee. I, of course, was very
upset with him. He knew not to
cross the road without holding
my hand. I scolded him for it and
he began running back across
the street toward me.
He tripped and fell on his knees
in the middle of the street. Just
then, a large black sedan with
tinted windows came racing
toward him at 60 mph. I tried to run
to him, but my feet were somehow
cemented to the ground. I
stretched out my arm and cried,
“Oh God!” as I watched my son’s
body being run over just a few
feet in front of me. The car tried
to brake, but it was too late. The
car screeched to a screaming
halt after it ran over my son, but
no one got out. I stood there
in disbelief, with memories of
Justin pulsing thru my mind. “My
son is dead.” I thought.
I yelled to my daughter who was
still by the car to remain there.
Then I prepared myself to find
my little boy’s mangled body.
I began to walk…one step at a
time, and then my body began to
shake. I kept praying for God to
help me, because apparently, no
one else was around. I walked
behind the car. Nothing. I walked
around the car to the other side.
Still nothing.
I took a deep breath and said
a quick prayer, and then I got
on my hands and knees and
looked under the vehicle. He
wasn’t there. I stood up, confused.
Where could he have
gone? For one quick second,
I even looked ‘up’ in a nearby
tree thinking maybe he’d been
thrown? Then…out of the corner
of my eye…I saw him. Justin was
standing up on the curb of the
side of the street he’d originally
crossed over to! I ran over to him
and wrapped my arms around
him. I even asked him, “How did
you get all the way over HERE?”
He looked like he was in shock. I
searched his entire body for injuries.
He didn’t have a scratch on
him. Not even from when he fell
down in the middle of the street
while trying to come back to
me. The One True God had just
miraculously saved my son’s life!
This is The One True God I live
for, pray to, worship, trust, and
believe in. The One who died on
the Cross for my wretched sins.
The One who loves me more
than anyone I’ve ever known
on this planet, and more than
anyone ever will.
Faith is a deliberate choice and
belief so strong in something or
someone that nothing anyone
says or does will ever change
your mind. You just ‘know that
you know.’ The longer you know
Him, the clearer this becomes.
By all accounts, there has never
been a god of any kind ever (other
than Jesus Christ) who has purposefully
died a tragic death just
for us so that we may one day
be with Him and have eternal
life. Not one. The One True God
of the Bible is a God of pure love
and offers the free gift of eternal
life to anyone who wants it. What
do these other (false) gods have
to offer? Money? Power? False
sense of security? Martyrdom?
Nothing. Do not be fooled. What
do they want? Your soul.
The irony here is that with all other
godless religions combined,
none of them provide mankind
with the inner peace, love and
tranquility the Holy Spirit does.
Yet, they’d like to make you think
they do. Another tad of irony; all
other false gods do not adhere to
is an honest accountability from
their members/congregants/
believers compared to those who
