goodness. Man was fed day in and day out on
deception, by the deceiver the devil. Man also
created a descendant for himself, with bruised
relationship between him and God.
God who still wanted to enjoy a fellowship with
man, craved for a holy generation to serve Him.
He wanted to establish His relationship with man
and bless Him, but according to man; God was a
distant identity. Man sketched God according to the
imaginations of his own heart and with the biased
tutoring of the father of lies. He created numerous
false Gods and fallen angels, to worship and
subjected himself to be led by them. This deed of
rebellious self-will provoked God all the more and
man got himself bound into the clutches of idolatry,
witchcraft and other filthy acts, that distanced God
from him.
As a divine scheme, man was designed to depend
on God’s guidance and help. When man was
deprived of this help from his maker, he sought
divine help through all kinds of sorcery, mediums
and necromancy and took the help of fallen angels
and claimed them as his God. These acts of man
displeased God and God regretted towards man’s
rebellious, sinful and ungodly ways.
Despite all these wickedness, God took pity on
man and understood his helplessness and chose
a holy descent to reveal himself as God, this
Chosen generation was Israel; the children of
Abraham. Abraham was chosen by God to raise a
holy generation and thereby God revealed himself
to Abraham.
God was with Israel and the Israelites believed
in a monotheistic-God, among the other pagan
worshippers. Thus, God kept His promise to
Abraham and wanted to reveal himself to Israel
and establish a fellowship with them. So, according
to His promise, God sent a Savior to His chosen
people to have fellowship with them and bridge
them back with Himself. This Savior was none
other than His only begotten son, a sinless blood
and God himself, the second person of the trinity,
Jesus. Contrary to God’s love, all that Israel could
offer God was to reject His son-Jesus. His own
chosen generation rejected God and crucified His
son.
The Israelites opted to call the Savior a blasphemer
and put him to death. The son of God was
numbered among the thieves, named a rebel and
was killed by the wicked mankind, but still Jesus
took all the sins of the world upon himself and paid
the ransom for all our sins to bridge us together,
with His father. The fall of Israel opened the doors
of salvation for us the gentiles, to be set right with
God the creator.
Jesus who died for our sins is the only way, the
truth and the life to bridge us eternally with God.
Anyone who believes in Jesus has the access to
God’s presence through His blood. Our sins can
only be washed by the sinless blood of Jesus.
When our crimson red sins are made white as
snow, we will again be united as one, with the holy
God. The sinful man once separated from the holy
God will gain entry into the holy presence of God
by faith in the cleansing blood of Jesus Christ.
We as humans can again communicate with God,
have fellowship with Him, enjoy His presence and
also know His will.
Even before the atonement of sins by the blood of
Jesus, God was longing to reveal His way to man.
God’s revelation to the great biblical heroes like
Enoch, Noah, Jacob, David, Moses, Elijah was a
typical example for His fellowship with man. Post
the sacrifice of Jesus, the veil to the most holy place
was torn and any layperson could connect with the
Most holy God and plead for mercy through the
blood of His son,Jesus.
Moreover after the ascension of Jesus to His father,
God bestows the greatest privilege unknown to the
saints of the Old Testament, i.e. the in-dwelling of
the Holy Spirit. This, third person of the trinity was
sent to reveal and have a personal relationship
with us. Jesus was called Immanuel “God with
us” and the Holy Spirit is always with us to help
us, guide us, convict us of all our sins and also
comfort us in all our pains. He is the only good
spirit, who can guide us to Jesus.
We have to have a personal relationship with the
unseen God to be His bride, just knowing God
will not help us at all. Our knowledge about God
has to be exercised to build a relationship with
Him and eventually be earned, by our consistent
commitment in seeking him and His mercy. The
