RESTRICTION ORDER<br />

Witness Anonymity and Screening<br />

1 <strong>The</strong>re shall be no disclosure or publication of any information that identifies or tends<br />

to identify the individual who will be referred to henceforth in these proceedings as<br />

D9. D9’s identity is stated in the Annex to this Order, which will be served on core<br />

participants only. In the event that D9 is required to attend and give evidence at the<br />

public hearing of the <strong>Inquiry</strong>, his physical appearance will be concealed from the<br />

public, the media and core participants, but not from the Chairman, Counsel to the<br />

<strong>Inquiry</strong>, Counsel for the core participants or security cleared inquiry staff.<br />

2 <strong>The</strong> screening orders dated 9 October 2014 (made in relation to A3) and 14 November<br />

2014 (made in relation to A1 and also in relation to C2, C3, D3, D6 and D7) are varied<br />

so that in the event the said individuals give evidence, their physical appearance will<br />

not be concealed from security cleared inquiry staff.<br />

This Order is made under section 19(1) of the Inquiries Act 2005 and binds all members of<br />

the public, including Core Participants.<br />

In the case of public authorities, the restrictions specified in this Order take effect subject to<br />

the terms of section 20(6) of the Inquiries Act 2005.<br />

Any person affected by this Order may apply in accordance with section 20 of the Inquiries<br />

Act 2005 to vary its terms.<br />
