13.2 Record keeping<br />

Tanks evaluated, repaired, altered or reconstructed to <strong>API</strong>-653 require the<br />

following owner/operator records:<br />

a. Component integrity evaluation, including brittle fracture considerations.<br />

b. Re-rating data (including liquid level).<br />

c. Repair and alteration considerations.<br />

13.2.1.3 Additional support data including, but not limited to, information<br />

pertaining to:<br />

a. Inspections (including "t" measurements).<br />

b. Material test reports/certifications.<br />

c. Tests.<br />

d. Radiographs (to be retained for at least one year).<br />

e. Brittle fracture considerations.<br />

f. Original construction data.<br />

g. Location and identification (owner/operator number, serial number).<br />

h. Description of tank (diameter, height and service).<br />

i. Design conditions (i.e., liquid level, specific gravity, stress and loading).<br />

j. Shell material and thickness (by course).<br />

k. Tank perimeter elevations.<br />

l. Construction completion record.<br />

m. Basis for hydrostatic test exemption<br />
