fundraiser; Lo delivered a short course on car maintenance to the general public;
all net revenue was donated to the Poly- Student Section to fund special pro;ects
proposed by members. Lo also gave well-attended talks to members and the general
public on forensic engineering; demonstrating how to use engineering knowledge
to solve problems.

Engineering; Science and Technology; and a member of the Hong Kong Institution of
Engineers and SAE International. He is a chartered engineer and a registered professional
engineer in Hong Kong. Lo holds two - .S. patents and has eight patents ;one

of various industrial energy cycles with a focus
on increasing efficiency and reducing emissions.
Dooley;s Connecticut-based career began in 1; ; ; at
Combustion Engineering. Initially a test engineer; he
was subseCuently promoted to manager of performance
testing. Combustion Engineering was acCuired by
A; ; and in 1; ; 2 he moved to a senior consultant position.
Alstom Power acCuired A; ; in 2000 and Dooley
moved into the position of manager of energy assessment and thermal performance;
and then; until late 201; ; he was an executive consultant. In May 201; Dooley retired
from the position of executive consultant at ; E Power.
He has published more than a dozen papers and holds two patents.
