Nerak supplies continuous
bucket elevators and pendulum
bucket elevators for bulk
handling, both of which offer
horizontal, vertical or inclining
conveying paths in ‘S’ and ‘C’
configurations, with conveying
heights of up to 50 metres.

as food grade design and metal
detectable buckets can

RUBBER BLOCK CHAIN
The company says that many
of the advantages of its bucket
conveyors stem from the
special rubber block chain.
“The rubber chain achieves
its high tensile strength from
embedded vulcanized steel
cables,” explains Simon
Musgrave, sales director at
Nerak. “With a link-free design,
it ensures quiet operation
and does not suffer from
chain stretch,” he continues.
“In terms of maintenance,
the design is wear-resistant,
avoids the need for lubrication
and provides corrosion-free
operation to ensure very low
maintenance needs.”
Nerak will also be promoting
its range of spiral conveyors
which are suitable for a variety
of applications including food
processing and end of line
operations in manufacturing
or distribution. Featuring a
modular design and available
in both 400mm and 600mm
belt widths, the spiral
conveyors offer a capacity of
up to 3,000 units per hour.
