Detection offer makes UK debut
Heuft will be exhibiting
a completely new
device category at the
NEC-based exhibition.
Heuft One is the name of the
compact, easy to integrate and
reliable to operate standalone
range of devices. In operation,
they combine special
detection technologies with
customised hardware and
software and proven company
procedures for exact product
tracking, inspection and
fault rejection. “They set new
standards in a confined space
in terms of detection accuracy,
operational reliability and
price/performance ratio,” says
Phil Cooper, sales & marketing
manager for Heuft UK.
The range was first seen
at interpack in May and
the Heuft One devices to be
demonstrated at PPMA are
a metal detector using new
Latest detection technologies are compact, reliable and also easy to integrate
technology and a vision
inspection system for code
and logo checking. Maximum
detection accuracy combined
with special evaluation
procedures allows minute
pieces of metal to be found
in food packs.
“Even special ambient
conditions such as a ‘metal
free zone’ are not necessary
for the reliable operation of
the compact standalone
device,” says Cooper.
The slim, entry-level
machine is ideal for all those
who only wish to find objects
made of iron, steel, aluminium
or stainless steel. Meanwhile,
the new Heuft One for coder
verification, text and logo
inspection works with
in-house developed colour
sensor camera technology and
real-time image evaluation.
Equipment exhibited for
those who wish to find more
than just metal during a
foreign object inspection is
the latest generation Heuft
eXaminer II XB top-down
inspector with its pulsed x-ray
and flat panel full field image
capture technology which,
says the company, offers
the highest performance for
foreign body detection in food
products.
