uptime<br />

uptime gives a one–line display of the following information:<br />

v Current time<br />

v How long the system has been running<br />

v Number of users who are currently logged into z/<strong>OS</strong> <strong>UNIX</strong> and the system load<br />

averages for the past 1, 5, and 15 minutes. Load averages are not supported on<br />

z/<strong>OS</strong> <strong>UNIX</strong>, and are displayed as 0.00<br />

uptime uses the following file:<br />

/etc/utmpx<br />

Current login status file.<br />

uptime uses the following localization environment variables:<br />

v LANG<br />

v LC_ALL<br />

v LC_CTYPE<br />

v LC_MESSAGES<br />

v NLSPATH<br />

uucc — Compile UUCP configuration files<br />

Description<br />

uucc<br />

uucc reads the contents of the uucp configuration files and compiles them into a<br />

single configuration file called /usr/lib/uucp/config. The configuration files are:<br />

v <strong>System</strong>s<br />

v Devices<br />

v Dialers<br />

v Dialcodes<br />

v Permissions<br />

Because uucc expects these text files to be in the current working directory, you<br />

need to change the directory (with the cd command) to /usr/lib/uucp before issuing<br />
