2015: In a record-setting and MVP performance, LSU RB Leonard Fournette set the Texas Bowl individual scoring<br />
record with 30 points and the Texas Bowl all-purpose yards record with 256 yards. Fournette finished<br />
the game with 29 carries for 212 rushing yards and four rushing touchdowns and a 44-yard touchdown<br />
reception for five total TDs.<br />
2014: In a rematch of former Southwest Conference rivals, Arkansas rolled to an easy 31-7 win over Texas in front<br />
of a Texas Bowl record 71,115 fans. Brandon Allen had a pair of TD passes for the Razorbacks in their first<br />
bowl appearance in three years.<br />
2013: Brisly Estime’s 70-yard punt return in the final two minutes set up quarterback Terrel Hunt’s 12-yard<br />
scramble with 1:14 left, lifting Syracuse to a 21-17 victory over Minnesota.<br />
2011: Paced by the 329-yard passing performance of quarterback Ryan Tannehill, Texas A&M wins its final game as<br />
a Big 12 Conference member in holding off Northwestern 33-22.<br />
2010: Robert Griffin III, who would win the Heisman Trophy as the nation’s top collegiate player one year later,<br />
leads Baylor to its first bowl appearance in 16 years, but the Bears fall to Illinois 38-14.<br />
2007: Andy Dalton and TCU hold off a late charge by Case Keenum and the hometown-favorite Houston Cougars as<br />
the Horned Frogs take a 20-13 win.<br />

Ricky Dobbs, QB, Navy, 2009 – Posted the biggest rushing-and-passing outing in bowl history, running for 166<br />
yards and three touchdowns and throwing for 130 yards and another score in a 35-13 victory over Missouri<br />
Last Year’s Game:<br />
Playing in front of a crowd of 67,820, the Texas Longhorns defense forced a Texas Bowl record four turnovers en<br />
route to a 33-16 victory over the Missouri Tigers. The Longhorns opened the scoring as QB Shane Buechele found<br />
RB Daniel Young from 22 yards out, putting Texas up 7-0. Later in the first quarter, QB Sam Ehlinger connected with<br />
WR John Burt to extend the Longhorns’ lead, 14-0. Texas’ 14 first quarter points tied a Texas Bowl record and was<br />
the highest scoring first quarter since Rutgers posted 14 points in 2006. Early in the second quarter, Missouri RB Ish<br />
Witter scampered in for a four-yard score to shrink Texas’ lead to 14-7. The Longhorns defense quickly responded<br />
as junior LB Anthony Wheeler scooped up a Witter fumble and returned it 38 yards for a touchdown, putting Texas<br />
up two touchdowns at halftime. Wheeler’s 38-yard score marked the longest fumble returned for a touchdown<br />
