The SpringHill Suites Downtown Dallas (1907 North Lamar, Dallas TX 75202), is a<br />

suggested hotel for media.<br />

(NOTE: The SpringHill Suites Downtown Dallas will serve as the media host hotel for<br />

lodging only. The media headquarters will be at Cotton Bowl Stadium on the sixth level<br />

of the West side press box. The media center will open on Saturday, Dec. 24).<br />

onto TX-183 E toward Dallas (9.9 miles), TX-183 E becomes I-35E South/U.S. 77 South (5.1 miles), merge onto I-30 E via Exit 428A<br />

on the left toward Texarkana (3.6 miles), take Barry Ave. Exit 48B toward TX-78/E. Grand Ave./Munger Blvd., turn slight right onto S.<br />

Barry Ave. (0.6 miles), stay straight onto Crosstown Expressway (0.5 miles), turn right onto Gaisford St., Gaisford becomes Washington<br />

St. (0.5 miles), stay straight onto MLK Blvd., turn left onto Coliseum Drive/MLK Blvd., becomes Cotton Bowl Circle, Cotton Bowl<br />

miles), turn right onto N. Central Expressway (0.6 miles), merge onto I-45 S via ramp on the left toward I-30 (0.7 miles), merge onto<br />

I-30 E/U.S. 67 N via Exit 284A (2.4 miles), take the Barry Ave. Exit 48B toward TX-78/E. Grand Ave./Munger Blvd. (0.2 miles), turn<br />

Start out going south on International Pkwy/TX-97 S (Portions toll). Then 3.83 miles, merge onto TX-183 E via the exit on the left.<br />

Then 11.04 miles X-183 E becomes I-35E S/US-77 S. Then 3.95 miles, take EXIT 429B toward Continental Ave/Commerce St W. Then<br />

0.08 miles, merge onto N Stemmons Fwy. Then 0.16 miles, turn left onto Continental Ave. Then 0.32 miles, turn slight right onto N<br />

Lamar Street. N Lamar St is just past N Houston St, then 0.09 miles. SpringHill Suites by Marriott Dallas Downtown/West End, 1907 N.<br />

LAMAR ST. Your destination is just past Munger Ave.<br />

>From Dallas Love Field (DAL) to media hotel:<br />

Start out going southwest on Herb Kelleher Way toward Contrail Ln. Then 1.13 miles 1.13 total miles. Herb Kelleher Way becomes<br />

Cedar Springs Rd. Then 0.94 miles 2.07 total miles. Turn left onto Hudnall St. Hudnall St is 0.1 miles past Hedgerow Dr. If you reach<br />

Cedarplaza Ln you've gone a little too far.Then 0.37 miles 2.44 total miles. Take the 1st right onto Lemmon Ave. Take the ramp toward<br />

Downtown (Portions toll). If you reach Hawthorne Ave you've gone a little too far. Then 1.35 miles 4.40 total miles. Merge onto Harry<br />

Hines Blvd/TX-354 via the exit on the left toward Downtown. Then 0.84 miles, turn slight right onto N Field St. Then turn right onto<br />

Broom St. Then 0.13 miles turn slight left to stay on Broom St. Then 0.11 miles turn left onto N Lamar St. Then 0.09 miles, SpringHill<br />

>From media hotel to stadium:<br />

Start out going southeast on N Lamar St toward Corbin St. Turn left onto Main St/TX-354. Continue to follow Main St. If you are on<br />

S Lamar St and reach Commerce St you've gone a little too far. Merge onto I-30 E/US-67 N. Then 1.05 miles merge onto S 2nd Ave/<br />

TX-352 via EXIT 47 toward Fair Park. Then 0.43 miles turn slight left onto Parry Ave/TX-352. Continue to follow Parry Ave. Then 0.21<br />

miles turn right onto Washington St. If you reach S Haskell Ave you've gone a little too far. Take the 3rd right onto Keating Dr. Keating<br />

Dr is just past Admiral Nimitz Cir. If you reach Martin Luther King Jr Blvd you've gone about 0.2 miles too far. Then 0.12 miles turn<br />

right onto Cotton Bowl Cir.<br />

- The SERVPRO First Responder Bowl was known as the TicketCity Bowl in its first two<br />

years, then Heart of Dallas Bowl.<br />

- ESPN will manage the bowl game’s media rights, sales and game-related activities<br />

and coordinate the conference school inventory.<br />

- In its first three years, the SERVPRO First Responder Bowl developed a reputation<br />

for hosting wide-open offensive games. The three winning teams combined to<br />

throw for 1,272 yards (424.0 yards per game).<br />

- In-state teams won the bowl in three of its first four years, with Texas Tech winning<br />

the inaugural game, Houston in 2012 and North Texas in 2014.<br />
