Dipple & Conway, has
opened brand new premises
at 12 Market Place, Diss.
Opening on the 4 th September, the
family-run business has invested
more than £250,000 in the newlook
branch, transforming a former
vacant butcher’s shop into a cool and
contemporary practice.
With bright furnishings and a living
wall, it offers customers a stylish and
welcoming environment. While a
brand new shopfront has helped to
reinvigorate Diss high street.
Dipple & Conway first opened in Diss
in 2012, and has invested in the new
premises so customers can continue
to benefit from the highest standards of eye care, for many
generations to come.
Matthew Conway, great grandson of founder Thomas Conway,
and director says: “Dipple & Conway has been established
for more than 100 years with our first branch opening in 1916
in Norwich. We’re very proud of our history and heritage,
but we are always looking for ways to move the business on,
offering the latest, most exciting eyewear designs, coupled with
cutting edge optical equipment, including hospital-standard
technology, such as a 3D OCT scanner.”
“We’re thrilled with our new-look Diss branch. And with
bigger premises, we can can offer more appointments, bring
additional clinical services such as dry-eye clinics and take on
more customers too.”
The range of fashion-forward eyewear has also expanded: “We
stock a great range of stylish glasses and sunglasses, sourced
globally, and many exclusive to us in Norfolk or Suffolk. We
