When Ivana Margarini and Francesco Piccolo arrived in Ireland from Italy they<br />
found their dream salon location in Dalkey, Co. Dublin – and the all-natural<br />
OI Organic destination was born. “The interior design was inspired by nature,<br />
as this is the primary source with which we work,” they explain. “Everything<br />
in our salon has a history, from great-grandfather’s carpentry worktable to the<br />
wall decorated by an Italian artist who came over especially to create it.<br />
We worked with architect Felice Bevilacqua from Sicily, who has previously<br />
worked with Versace.” Treatments in the salon use only organic materials<br />
such as plant essences, herbs, fl owers, clays, algae and oils, and this<br />
dedication to wellbeing is refl ected everywhere you look. It’s a space that<br />
makes you feel good, both inside and out.<br />
