EXPECTED…
THE WELLA TRENDVISION AWARD IGNITES CAREERS AND CREATIVITY
IF YOU WANT to challenge yourself and hone your skills as
a hairdresser all the while setting new trends, then the Wella
TrendVision Award is the competition for you. Hairdressers
can test their skills by competing in one of two international
categories, either Creative Vision or Color Vision, and the UK
& Ireland category of Male Grooming. The 2018 Irish heat was
held at the Intercontinental Hotel in Dublin, and was hosted
by TV and social media star James Kavanagh.
The evening showcased the inspirational Mentors Show,
from award winning hairdressing icons including Leonardo
Rizzo from Sanrizz, Charlie Taylor from Charlie Taylor
Hairdressing and the Irish mentor, Darren Lacken from
Crow Street Collective. The Wella Professionals Style Council
collaborated with Leonardo Rizzo and Sharon Cox from
Sanrizz to present an eclectic EIMI-inspired show. Finally,
on the night the Irish finalists were announced and are listed
below. This year the entries were judged by industry leaders
from the UK and Ireland such as Andrew Dunne from Hair by
Mane, Jayson Gray from Karbon Kyd, Niamh O’Connor from
Callan & Co and Gareth Vance from Sassoon.
