and host regular events for residents and beyond. Here<br />
are <strong>2019</strong> dates to look forward to:<br />
Open air cinema, 23-24 August<br />
It may be a little way off but we highly advise you<br />
book tickets as soon as possible as this is bound to be<br />
a sell-out. This summer Hertford Castle will be showing<br />
screenings of Mamma Mia (23 Aug) and Grease (24 Aug).<br />
With the castle as backdrop, pack your picnic, blanket<br />
and enjoy a movie under the stars. Tickets will be on sale<br />
from March.<br />
Hertford Arts Trail, 6 April – 5 May<br />
The centre piece of the annual Hertford Arts Festival,<br />
the trail is a great opportunity to view work from local<br />
talent. For one month there will be pop up exhibitions at<br />
a number of venues across Hertford including retailers,<br />
bars and cafes.<br />

Hertford Castle Craft Market & Open Day Part of<br />
the Hertford Arts Festival<br />
Sunday 5 May, 12pm-4pm<br />
To mark the end of the Hertford Arts Festival, Hertford<br />
Castle will open its doors to the public. Visitors are<br />
welcome to explore the Castle Gatehouse and grounds<br />
free of charge. Up to 70 craft stands will exhibit an array<br />
of handmade assortments from jewellery to homeware,<br />
homemade produce to vintage clothing. There will be<br />
live music throughout the day.<br />
Cars at the Castle, 23 June, 12pm-4pm<br />
One for all motoring enthusiasts! The castle lawn will be<br />
displaying a fantastic collection of up to 100 classic and<br />
modern cars.<br />
