Last year I shared my top trend predictions for<br />
2018 including transparent details, circular floral<br />
backdrops, velvet and my personal favourite…<br />
suspended flowers and foliage! And some of these<br />
predictions are set to be even bigger news in <strong>2019</strong> –<br />
step forward the hotly anticipated trend of intense /<br />
bright colours.<br />
The good news…<strong>2019</strong> promises to be just as inspirational and<br />
packed full of trend predictions that can easily be incorporated<br />
into the design and/or style of your day.<br />
So here it is, my guide to the wedding trends to look out for<br />
and be inspired by in <strong>2019</strong>:<br />

The Meghan Effect<br />
The wedding of Meghan Markle and Prince<br />
Harry has understandably imprinted itself<br />
on the wedding industry and will affect<br />
wedding trends for years to come and this<br />
will be especially discernible in <strong>2019</strong>.<br />
From the dresses to the natural bridal<br />
beauty, the statement yet foam free floral<br />
and foliage installations to the Swiss<br />
meringue buttercream…to name but a<br />
few. It’s therefore no surprise that ‘The<br />
Meghan Effect’ has made it to the top of<br />
the trends feature for <strong>2019</strong>.<br />
Dried flowers and foliage<br />
Instagram is suddenly awash with a<br />
plethora of images of dried flowers and<br />
foliage being used for weddings and styled<br />
shoots, from the smaller details (dried<br />
confetti) to larger statement pieces (think<br />
suspended installations) and even as far as<br />
bouquets, buttonholes and floral crowns.<br />
The appeal…the nostalgia, the longevity,<br />
the flexibility, the uniqueness and of course<br />
the impact that they create.<br />
