and hymn<strong>in</strong>g choristers. The excitement thus<br />

awakened favored <strong>the</strong> plans <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> lieutenantcrim<strong>in</strong>al.<br />

He glided through <strong>the</strong> streets, attended by<br />

his serjeants and <strong>of</strong>ficers. The trai<strong>to</strong>r walked before<br />
