Heidi Lasi, editor of <strong>The</strong> <strong>Beat</strong>, came in from the heat to enjoy<br />
the incredible Latin American food served up at Renderos Latin<br />
Market. After a few flautas and a refreshing glass of mango<br />
juice and she was on her way to meet more of the interesting<br />
folks along St-Joseph Boulevard and take their photos.<br />

jus de mangue rafraîchissant, elle est repartie tirer le portrait de<br />
gens intéressants sur le boulevard Saint-Joseph.<br />
Vincent Carriere, who works at the Bookkeeping<br />
Bureau, was taking a break from his desk when we<br />
chatted with him. He likes to get out of the office<br />
and stroll along St-Joseph Boulevard, especially in<br />
the beautiful summer months.<br />

<strong>The</strong> sun was high in the sky when we chatted with Ian<br />
Whyte and Rene Konga who were on their way to meet<br />
a friend for poutine along St-Joseph Boulevard. <strong>The</strong>y’re<br />
both enjoying the carefree days of their summer break.<br />
