The Next chapter for new TUI store<br />
TUI has just opened a new store in<br />
Sheffield, the first to be located within<br />
a Next retail store. Manager Matt<br />
Pattinson tells <strong>Selling</strong> <strong>Travel</strong> how a prime<br />
location in The Moor shopping centre is<br />
attracting a new kind of customer.<br />
"Sheffield City Centre and the whole<br />
catchment area of Sheffield is really<br />
important to TUI. The area supports a<br />
number of our regional flying bases,<br />
including Doncaster Sheffield, Manchester<br />
and East Midlands airports. Over half a<br />
million people are in the catchment area<br />
of Sheffield and therefore it is important<br />
that we are well represented in the area.<br />
"The redevelopment of The Moor (shopping<br />
centre) has driven the majority of shoppers<br />
in Sheffield to that area of the city - it has<br />
attracted millions of visitors in the last year<br />
alone - and it was a great opportunity to be<br />
involved in such a prestigious development.<br />
It’s also great that this is first<br />
TUI store within Next,<br />
something new and<br />
exciting for us."<br />

"I have also helped many customers book<br />
somewhere new for the first time. Customers<br />
are increasingly wanting something that they<br />
haven't experienced before.<br />
"My proudest moment as a travel agent<br />
has to be winning TUI store of the year<br />
when I was a Team Manager at our Sheffield<br />
Meadowhall store. I also won Regional<br />
Deputy Manager of the Year a few years ago,<br />
which to me it is a testament to my hard<br />
work and dedication. I am very proud to be<br />
a travel agent for TUI and look forward to<br />
seeing this new store in Sheffield thrive."<br />
