Each year the UK & Irish<br />
cruise industry unites,<br />
bringing together cruise lines,<br />
travel agents, media and<br />
consumers as part of a<br />
campaign to highlight the<br />
benefits of a cruise holiday.<br />
This year, we are focusing<br />
on two key themes,<br />
sustainability and wellness,<br />
to showcase and champion<br />
what cruise lines are doing<br />
to create a sustainable<br />
future and offer enriching<br />
wellness experiences.<br />
We have created a<br />
dedicated toolkit for CLIA<br />
travel agents, found on<br />
cruiseexperts.org, which<br />
includes exclusive cruise line<br />
deals and promotions, social<br />
media graphics, ocean and<br />
river cruise guides and a<br />
sustainability fact sheet.<br />
We’re also encouraging<br />
agents to create their own<br />
special cruise event to keep<br />
in touch with existing<br />
customers and entice firsttime<br />
cruisers to book.<br />

Two onboard helicopters, a<br />
submarine and luxury suites were<br />
all revealed in a launch video of the<br />
new ship Scenic Eclipse last month.<br />
Described as the world’s first<br />
discovery yacht, Scenic Eclipse,<br />
which is currently on its maiden<br />
voyage from Reykjavik to Quebec,<br />
offers six-star luxury and the latest<br />
in design and innovation.<br />
The two onboard helicopters<br />
offer passengers the chance to<br />
experience their surroundings<br />
from new heights while the<br />
onboard submarine can dive<br />
down 300 metres for close-up<br />
encounters with aquatic creatures.<br />
Back on deck passengers<br />
have the choice of ten dining<br />
experiences, from alfresco meals<br />
in the Yacht Club, to casual eating<br />
in the Azure Bar & Café, and the<br />
chance to dine at the Chef’s Table.<br />
The 114 suites all have verandahs<br />
and private butler service and for<br />
the ultimate luxury experience the<br />
Owner’s Penthouse Suite features<br />
a spa bathroom and a private<br />
terrace with jacuzzi.<br />

we’re excited to be celebrating<br />
the launch of Scenic Eclipse as<br />
she voyages from the Arctic<br />
to Antarctica and everywhere<br />
